Treeless Saddles

Barefoot treeless saddles are built around the horse — not around a rigid tree that stays the same while your horse changes shape through the seasons. Barefoot Baltics (Log Horse OÜ) is the official Barefoot dealer for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We help Baltic riders choose and set up a saddle that actually fits, rather than hoping a “standard” tree will somehow work all year.

With a Barefoot saddle you swap the front pommel insert (four widths plus a soft option) and, when needed, adjust the pad with shims. That means one well-chosen seat size can work across several horses and through spring leanness and autumn roundness — without calling a fitter every few months.

Our range covers all-purpose models (Cheyenne, Barrydale, English Cherokee), trail saddles (Cherokee, Atlanta, Soft Ride), dressage and jumping options (London, Lexington, Merlin, Nottingham), Western models (Arizona, Nevada) and the Spanish-style Madrid. Many come as PRO or custom-design versions. All use Barefoot’s VPS panel system to protect the spine and spread the rider’s weight.

A new Barefoot saddle needs a short break-in period: it starts a little higher and moulds to you and your horse over time. Unsure which model or seat size? Contact us before you order — we are happy to talk through withers shape, back length and how you ride. Barefoot saddles come with a three-month trial so you can judge the fit in real work, not just on the first ride.
