Description
This excellent girth is made from a material called “Stretch & Breathe” that is specially made for Barefoot. It consists of many adjacent, fine elastic bands in envelopes, stitched with tear-resistant nylon thread. This gives us a material which is tear-resistant but also totally stretchy.
The “Stretch & Breathe” material is then wrapped in a soft, adjustable case that protects the horse’s sensitive girth area.

The elastic material conforms to the horse’s body – therefore the girth can stretch. We recommend turning it around every once in a while. If you usually use it from left to right, turn it around so it’s right to left to keep it balanced.
When you machine wash the soft casing, please do it at 30 degrees. The inside elastic is best washed by hand in cold water.
